Young Audiences Announces New Director of Marketing & Communications
April 13, 2007 – Atlanta, GA – Young Audiences, Woodruff Arts Center (YAWAC) is proud to announce the addition of a Director of Marketing & Communications to its staff. This position was previously called Communications Director and now includes additional responsibilities. Jihan François will join Young Audiences full time on June 4th after the completion of her Masters in Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Ms. François brings experience in the areas of public finance, public relations, non-profit, and marketing to this new position. François holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Entrepreneurship from Hampton University.
As Director of Marketing & Communications, François will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing and public relations campaigns for YAWAC in order to increase awareness and revenues. She will collaborate with other senior staff members to integrate marketing communications across all YAWAC programs and initiatives.
Ms. François has already begun working part-time for YAWAC until her graduation. She is excited and ready to tackle the projects facing her. “I entered graduate school with the goal of finding a job I loved going to everyday and that challenged me. With this position, I found those attributes and even more. I am excited about making a difference in the lives of children here in Georgia and becoming a part of the Young Audience’s and Woodruff Arts Center’s missions,” François said.

With the new addition of a Director of Marketing & Communications, Young, Audiences, Woodruff Arts Center has plans to create a comprehensive strategic marketing and public relations plan to guide YAWAC through the coming years.
