Director of Program Initiatives (DPI) The Director of Program Initiatives (DPI) is in charge of all aspects of YAWAC’s arts learning programs. The DPI is responsible for the design, development, implementation and evaluation of all programs and new initiatives. The DPI manages a team of professional staff and contractors including educators, teaching artists, curriculum designers and program delivery staff to deliver innovative impactful arts learning experiences to young people from preschool through high school throughout Georgia, both directly and in collaboration with its partner divisions at the Woodruff Arts Center and others dedicated to young people to learn in and through the arts. The DPI works closely with the Executive Director and other members of the senior management team. Currently, the DPI position oversees two full-time staff members and one or more consultants. The DPI will have the opportunity to participate in shaping the program initiatives team in the context of the new strategic plan objectives. Click here for more information and to apply.
Professional Learning Teaching Artist The Professional Learning Teaching Artist is grant funded for three years. Click here for more information and to apply.
Development Coordinator
The Development Coordinator will support the development efforts of the organization through assisting with a variety of fundraising activities, including corporate sponsorship, grant writing, the annual fund campaign and the “Backpack Project” and membership campaign.
