Young Audiences Hosts Soar Into Spring 2008

Friday, March 07, 2008

March 7, 2008 – Atlanta, GA – Young Audiences, Woodruff Arts Center (YAWAC) is proud to host Soar Into Spring, an afternoon of storytelling and craft fun for the entire family. On March 29th, 2008, the Woodruff Arts Center’s Galleria will be filled with children from ages three to eight and their parents for lunch, storytelling by Young Audiences’ artist, Holly Stevenson, and numerous craft stations for hands on activities lead by volunteers from all over Metro Atlanta. The theme for this event is Peter Rabbit with Holly Stevenson doing a theatrical interpretation of one of Beatrix Potter’s wonderful tales.

Families from all over the city will have the opportunity to experience one of Young Audience’s entertaining and educational performances. Children will enjoy participating in many of the crafts that range from cookie decorating to kite making and will go home with goodie bags full of treats and, of course, a book for their home library.

Young Audiences is dedicated to providing quality educational arts experiences to the children of Georgia and is excited about the opportunity to bring the joy of Beatrix Potter to more children.
