Miscreants, mischief and misunderstandings make for marvelous stories from around the globe. Pick from delightful tales such as “Coyote and Mouse” (Mexico), “Maui Brings the Fire” (Polynesia), “The Fingers and the Thumb” (Hausa-West Africa), or “The Family of Fools” (Japan), or ask Barry to include some bilingual cuentos or customize a program to a specific theme or tradition. Like all good stories, these both convey the diversity of culture and encompass universal themes—community, identity, love, responsibility, wisdom—that transcend geographical borders and reveal our shared humanity.
Add on a workshop to your assembly performance for $70 (1 person) or $105 (2 people).
