This playful mixture of storytelling and choreography, directed by Pilobolus veterans Matt and Emily Kent, explores the elements of story—character, setting and plot—through unconventional, athletic, comical and acrobatic movement. The dancers demonstrate their virtuosity as they twist over, under and around each other; balance, propel and vault with a seven-foot pole; and incorporate common objects in surprising ways. Students are invited to become “storeographers” by collaborating with Pickleshoes to create a short, fun, original composition.
