When is a stick not a stick? There are infinite answers to this riddle when props become the inspiration for choreography created and performed not just by Pickleshoes’ talented trio, but by members of the audience as well! The dancers employ a variety of ordinary objects to demonstrate how a series of creative decisions can alter the final work. Students will take over the choreographic reins, transforming the piece into an entirely new dance based on their own creative choices. It’s a daring, risky and wonderfully empowering learning experience.
