Everybody Knows Brer Rabbit | Chetter Galloway
|
The sly and mischievous trickster is a familiar fixture in stories the world over. Chetter compares Joel Chandler Harris’ Brer Rabbit tales with Anansi the Spider tales from West Africa. These tricksters, too smart for their own good, end up causing lots of trouble before they learn the error of their ways. Students will grasp the moral of these stories as they laugh at the characters’ antics and revel in hearing stories that never grow old.
