|
Discover the origins of Photography (Greek for "light-writing") through a unique educational presentation.
A pre-digital exploration into this historic medium helps students develop an appreciation for light, for human vision, and for evolution of photographic art.
Larry Erb
Larry has shared his enthusiasm for photography for more than 30 years with hundreds of audiences. He teaches classes for students ranging from the gifted and talented to those with special needs. His programs combine the art, science and history of photography with fascinating hands-on learning experiences for students of all ages and abilities.
Larry has had extensive training and experience in the art of photography with numerous exhibits, teaching grants, workshops, festivals and publications. He has led workshops and held residencies using the camera obscura and other primitive "lens-less" photographic techniques.
Larry's work is a part of Georgia's state art collection and hangs in Capitol offices. Allied Arts commissioned him to produce an antebellum architectural pinhole series in Milledgeville.
