Stories inspired by traditional folktales are given a winter holiday makeover in this festive interactive celebration of the season. Students’ imaginations will sparkle and shine like holiday lights as they create their own original holiday tales.

Sherry Norfolk

Sherry Norfolk is an internationally acclaimed storyteller, appearing at the International Storytelling Center, the Singapore Storytelling Festival, and many more festivals, schools, libraries and universities nationwide. Her strong, clear, direct stage presence immediate connects to audiences of all ages, and her use of tones, timbres, and rhythms in her telling breathes life into her rich repertoire of folktales from around the world.

With a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's in Library Science, Sherry is the co-author of nine books, including Literacy Development in the Storytelling Classroom (Libraries Unlimited, 2009) and The Storytelling Classroom: Applications Across the Curriculum (Libraries Unlimited, 2006). Sherry is on faculty at Lesley University, teaching "Cultural Diversity Through Storytelling" in their Creative Arts Learning program.
