Welcome to the oldest show on earth, born 40,000 years ago during the last Ice Age. Mask theatre is an ancient art practiced in virtually every culture known to man. Students will marvel at the artistry, humor and universality of a masked performer on stilts, a golden dragon and skating bear, traditional clowns and musical bones. The performers will demonstrate how they construct their masks and how they combine music, movement, colorful costumes and stunning visual effects to create clever, funny and compelling theatrical works.
