Delve into the myths of Ovid’s Metamorphoses and the familiar characters that live on in Shakespeare’s and other authors’ works. Why do these tales still speak to us? Students can explore the origins of theatre through the stories of Eurydice, Pyramus and Thisbe, King Midas and more. The students, incorporating improvisation and storytelling, will perform scenes from the myths.
