Join Jeff as he searches for a cure for "Rhymittis" and "Song Writing Fever" in this innovative and original program. Students create rhyming words by the dozens and take a look at the Dictionary, Rhyming Dictionary, Thesaurus, and a Journal as they search for a cure. Students also enjoy a visit from the fuzziest guy in show business, Mr. “BB Fuzz”. The "It's Good" program and CD are filled with hilarious and interactive original songs for kids. The tunes are southern-like grits mixed with the humor of a country boy and the schooling of Mr. Rogers. You can't help but sing, laugh, and dance to the original tunes and lyrics performed by Jeff. Younger elementary students are given multiple opportunities to reinforce beginning and ending word sounds and syllables. Older elementary students explore creative writing by crafting their own rhymes with help from various reference books. Students will have a blast mixing poetry and music to create fascinating songs.
Intended Outcome: Students connect word play and poetry with songwriting and elements of music.
