Moving Together  |  Pickleshoes

Pilobolus veterans Matt and Emily Kent shed light on the process of partnering, dance and theatrical collaboration in workshops that not only activate and challenge young bodies, but stimulate students’ minds through exercises that have direct relevance to the curriculum and life skills. Sample topics covered include: building trust through weight sharing and balancing; developing movement vocabulary; expressing ideas through movement; creating collaboratively in large and small self-directed groups; experiencing the choreographic process. Workshop content and activities are adapted to the specific developmental and educational levels of the students.
