Ms Noodlehead Has Georgia on Her Mind  |  Cathy Kaemmerlen

Ms. Noodlehead has “literally” dozens of facts and figures to share with students about the Peach State’s history, geography and folklore. Students will discover it’s not all poultry, peaches and peanuts in the Vidalia onion capital of the world. From the Okefenokee swamp to the mountains of North Georgia, from the sandy beaches of Sea Island to the bustle of metro Atlanta, students will leave Ms. Noodlehead eager to know more about the state they call home.

Georgia Performance Standards:

  • SS2H1 - The student will read and describe the lives of historical figures in Georgia history.
  • SS2G2 - The student will describe the cultural and geographic systems associated with figures in Georgia's history.
