Science and art converge in this introduction to the most primitive type of photography. Students will learn about the properties of light, how the brain and eye function, how to expose and process film, print images and use the elements of art—balance, proportion, composition—to produce visually satisfying and personally meaningful photos. Students will be surprised and delighted by the 4” x 5” images they create with simple pre-made, lens-less cameras.
