Students will love the challenge of creating their own surprising pop-up pages. The task requires an understanding of geometry, the ability to see and think in three dimensions and large doses of imagination and creativity. Most classes create two to four pages in a single class period or, with multiple days, a bound book.
Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA)
The Museum of Design Atlanta, MODA, is the only museum in the Southeast with a focus on Design and Design Education.
The Education Department was honored in 2007 with an Award of Merit in K-12 Architectural Education by the American Architectural Foundation and a Stewardship Award in Design Education K-12 by the National Endowment for the Arts.
MODA's programs provide skill development in design education allowing young people great access to creativity.
