There’s something for every age and every stage in this treasure trove of classic children’s stories. Some students will recognize old favorites like “The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly,” “The Little Red Hen” and “Three Billy Goats Gruff.” Others will discover the pleasures of “Homer Price and the Ball of String,” “Sleeping Ugly” and “How the Elephant Got his Trunk” for the very first time. All will experience the enduring and universal impact that defines a classic work of literature.
