SLAM! Poetry Workshop | Tasha Jones
|
During this dynamic workshop, Tasha Jones demonstrates how hip-hop lyrics can add relevance and rigor to any English Language Arts classroom. Students will understand the distinctions between literary poetry and slam (or performance) poetry, and participate in a mock Slam themselves. The workshop illustrates how poetry can be a meaningful part of students’ lives.
