Ritmo Blu celebrates winter holidays and traditions around the world through a high energy, world percussion performance! By exploring the music and traditions of Christmas, Hannukah, and Kwanzaa, audiences will hear new rhythmic renditions of their favorite holiday songs, learn about new customs and cultures, and discover new instruments from Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Carribean Islands. Musical highlights include “O Tannenbaum” performed on tuned Austrian cow bells, “Feliz Navidad” performed on steel drums, and a ragtime rendition of “The Dreidel Song”.
