Ramatu Afegbua-Sabbatt
Ramatu Afegbua-Sabbatt, a Nigerian born artist from the Afegbua royal family is the founder/director of Manga African Dance. Since 1988, she has influenced the Fulton County School Arts Program and is known for her authenticity in African dance.
She is a dancer, musician and storyteller. Additionally, she's performed with some leading cultural dance companies in Atlanta and is an artist with Fulton County Arts Council and Young Audiences.
Ramatu's studies and teachings are focused on the indigenous African culture and its preservation. She is constantly studying with master teachers from various African countries.
