Synchronicity Theatre
ABOUT

Synchronicity activates communities toward social change through powerful, transformative theatrical experiences. In collaboration, we support women artists, forge effective long-term partnerships and develop new work. Synchronicity Theatre was founded in 1997. It serves the metro Atlanta area and annually presents the Bold Voices series of three contemporary plays for adults and the Family Series of two to three musicals for the whole family. Each year, the company runs the Playmaking for Girls Program — an outreach program for at-risk young women. Synchronicity is a member of the Theatre Communications Group, Atlanta Coalition for the Performing Arts, Georgia Center for Non-Profits, C4 Atlanta, the Cultural Group Sales Network and the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Synchronicity is committed to raising the local and national profile of the Atlanta theatre community and was awarded the Metro Atlanta Arts & Business Council’s 2001 Abby award for “Best New Arts Organization.” In 2005, Synchronicity’s Playmaking for Girls program was awarded the Kaleidoscope award from the Georgia Assembly of Community Arts Agencies (GACAA).
