Dave Ellington, pianist, takes students on a rhythmic journey through four musical styles; Blues, Jazz, Latin and Classical. Engaging the students, Dave uses different hats while playing to better help symbolize the different styles. Students experience rhythmic patterns through engaging clapping, tapping, and scatting. The program culminates in the students directing Dave in an "on the spot" musical styling, and further explorations into rhythm. Your students are sure to enjoy this musical styles party!
