Book Arts Residency | Pamela Beagle-Daresta

Students begin by creating traditional decorative paste paper for their books hard cover. The accordion signature format may carry watercolor images drawn by the students that are connected to classroom curriculum. The book format will also feature pockets to add text inserts created by the students. All images and themes for the books can be tied to classroom curriculum.
Pamela Beagle-Daresta
Pamela Beagle-Daresta is an outstanding teaching artist who is formally trained in drawing, painting, printmaking and papermaking.
Experienced in both art therapy and gifted education, she is certified in Discipline Based Art Education and is on the Artist in Education roster for the Georgia Council for the Arts.
She has over 30 years of teaching experience in schools, arts centers, and museums.
