Students will construct a miniature accordion book with a paste paper hard cover. At a later date under the guidance of the classroom teacher, students can create (write, draw, etc) cirruculum-based books to life. Creating a personal book invests the students in the quality of the content of their book!
Pamela Beagle-Daresta
Pamela Beagle-Daresta is an outstanding teaching artist who is formally trained in drawing, painting, printmaking and papermaking.
Experienced in both art therapy and gifted education, she is certified in Discipline Based Art Education and is on the Artist in Education roster for the Georgia Council for the Arts.
She has over 30 years of teaching experience in schools, arts centers, and museums.
