Famous glass artist Dale Chihuly’s large, brilliant, colorful glass sculptures provide the inspiration for this 2-day workshop encompassing art, design, fabrication and recycling. Students will decorate several hundred plastic bottles the first day, then assemble them into their very own Chilhuly-style masterpiece the second day.
$15/class supplies fee and $40 for each assembled chandelier
Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA)
The Museum of Design Atlanta, MODA, is the only museum in the Southeast with a focus on Design and Design Education.
The Education Department was honored in 2007 with an Award of Merit in K-12 Architectural Education by the American Architectural Foundation and a Stewardship Award in Design Education K-12 by the National Endowment for the Arts.
MODA's programs provide skill development in design education allowing young people great access to creativity.
