Into the assembly sweeps Fifi, an outlandishly coiffed pretender to the French throne, followed by an eccentric cleaning man attempting to dust the audience. Together, this flamboyant duo leads students on a fascinating journey into a world where imaginary walls, ropes and balls are made real through classic French illusionary mime. Body control, stylistic discipline and eloquent silent communication are the hallmarks of this art form. Students will test their own coordination, concentration and illusory skills as they create new mime realities with the artists.
