Mr. Greg's Musical Madness

“Mr. Greg”, a.k.a Greg Roth, is an award winning, professional musician/songwriter/performer with a B.F.A in Theatre from New York University's prestigious Tisch School of The Arts.  Greg honed his music, comedy and theatre style working with the likes of Adam Sandler, arranger Doug Besterman (The Producers, Chicago), drummer Max Roach (Miles Davis, Charlie Parker), and playwright Bryan Golubuoff (The Basketball Diaries).  Greg has performed at such diverse venues as the famed Lincoln Center, CBGBs, the Georgia Dome and has shared the stage with the Barenaked Ladies, Blondie, John Mayer, Kristian Bush (Sugerland), Shawn Mullins, Lenny Kravitz, Everclear, Tonic, and The Ramones.

Greg initially started writing children’s music for his son, Elijah. By combining catchy songwriting with his comedic stage experience – performing at Atlanta’s improv Whole World Theatre and Atlanta’s stand-up comedy at The Punchline – Greg discovered a natural fit for entertaining and educating children utilizing song and comedy. Soon his hobby turned into a passion and led to performing at Elijah’s school.  After word-of-mouth spread among the teachers, Greg found himself receiving numerous requests to appear at other facilities. Today, Mr. Greg’s success is a testament to his hard work and passion that has made him one of the top children’s performers in the Southeast.

With his growing popularity, Mr. Greg has always kept his main goal in focus: to instill a lifelong love of music!
