Step Inside a 16th Century Camera  |  Larry Erb

Step Inside a 16th Century Camera

Program Details: Get a bird's eye view of a camera obscura, a darkroom/walk-in camera fashioned after a renaissance model.

After a historical slide presentation by the artist dressed in period attire, students divide into groups of four to prepare a short improvisational skit.

Seated inside this unique visual instrument, each student group experiences a greater understanding of the camera's workings and its ability to capture light.

The camera obscura becomes an amazing, amusing "Locked Treasure Room."
