Children will light up when Queen Glitter enters, dressed in her royal finery, ready to share some of her favorite books and stories with her eager “subjects.” In minutes, students will be swept up in the magic of her captivating and participatory tales. With a wave of her wand, a sprinkling of glitter and a magic trick or two, she imparts the importance—and fun—of reading. And, before she returns to her kingdom, she extracts a promise from her audience to “read LOTS of books.”
