Double the jugglers, double the learning, double the fun! Either Michael Jay Garner or Jimmy Robertson will help Ron illustrate why cheating is a failing proposition. Jay combines his juggling skills with a banjo, bullwhip and some surprising solid bubble tricks. Jimmy, a world-class unicyclist and juggler (who also does some nifty jump rope tricks), shows off his coordination atop a rolling globe. Following the amazing club-passing finale, the performers will talk with students about the benefits of teamwork and the dangers of stereotyping.
Ron Anglin: Quite a Catch
Ron Anglin, who lives in rural Molena, GA, once used juggling to help teach his high school classes and to improve his soccer and wrestling teams. He now uses a wide variety of props and skills to teach science, character education, and the importance of reading to all grades. He currently works for the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Program at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and for Cirque du Monde, the outreach program of Cirque du Soleil.
Ron has performed over 4200 times since 1999. He also works for Dakota Assemblies and National School Assemblies (24 states so far!) and will do a Midwest tour for them in 2011. His mission is to reach as many kids as possible and challenge them to try new things and develop a balanced brain!
