Twas the Night Before Christmas | Piccadilly Puppets Company
|
Piccadilly takes a few liberties with the classic holiday poem penned by Clement C. Moore more than 100 years ago. In this version, performed with hand puppets, children will get the real story of that night from a mouse who was an eyewitness to the whole affair. It’s a merry tale with lots of silly twists and turns to entertain and amuse children of all ages.
Piccadilly Puppets Company
The Piccadilly Puppets Company has been performing since 1969.
Awarded the UNIMA Citation for Excellence in the Art of Puppetry, they have performed for regional, national, and international puppetry festivals and at the International Children's Festival at Wolf Trap Farm.
The primary mission of the company is to provide puppetry experiences of high artistic quality to young audiences of ethnically/culturally diverse populations of all socioeconomic levels. Most of the plays feature original scripts and music, and great care is taken to blend content with curriculum.
