Young Audiences, Woodruff Arts Center is the leading provider of arts-in-education programming in Georgia serving over 500,000 students in 53 counties. At a time when the arts are being cut out of schools, Young Audiences is working hard to keep arts alive. To help this cause, Young Audiences is piloting a membership program that is a fundraising opportunity for your school’s cultural arts fund. 50% of the funds go to your school and 50% goes to bringing arts to students less fortunate throughout your community and Georgia. How your funds help your school:
Cultural arts funding brings in arts-in-education programming that exposes students to various art forms and cultures while supplementing educational topics students are studying. In a national study, researchers found that students with high involvement in the arts performed better on standardized tests than their peers and reported less boredom in the classroom.
